Sheffield - Manchester trip

2 days before the winter break ends, I went off for a trip to Sheffield. It was a last minute preparation trip, but I’d enjoy it very much. So, here it goes…

Sheffield:

I arrived at Sheffield Station around 1.00am (Huh? I took a fun-fare ticket (£1.00) Cardiff > London and London > Sheffield). I do not mind traveling more as long as I pay less). I was picked up by Pisang & Roy at the station and we went back - straight ahead.

Saturday, January 5th 2008: I went around Sheffield city centre. If I were to compare it with Cardiff, Sheffield is much more bigger. Plus, it is quite hilly - which is interesting. Everything is here. A day visit to Sheffield would be great for an introduction for Sheffield. So, here are some of the photos which I took at Sheffield.

Manchester:

Sunday, January 6th 2008: This would be the greatest day I ever had in UK. I took a bus from Sheffield to Manchester at 9.00am and arrived there at 10.00am. I met with my friend, Ben and he brought me around Manchester for the whole day. He told me that there are 5 things that we need to visit when we are in Manchester and they are:

  1. The Old Trafford Stadium.
  2. The Trafford Centre
  3. Moonlight
  4. Pizza Co.
  5. Rusholme

Old Trafford - Home of the Red Devils

This is the home of Manchester United fans. And some of you might not know that I am one of them. I’ve been supporting them since most of you just knew about them. I am a great fan of MU since I was standard 3. I still remember when MU were defeated by Aston Villa. Aston were playing 4-4-2 formation at that time and they beat United by 3-0. If I am not mistaken. I was a tragic day for United as that was the only defeat that season. Despite that, they proved to win the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League in the same year (1999) and since then, Alex Ferguson was given the title Sir Alex Ferguson. I was supporting them since day onwards until David Beckham leaved MU for Real Madrid.

Despite that, there were people who persuade me to watch football back again. It’s because I don’t quite much watch it at college. They said, “Come on, lets watch football. Be a man!” In my heart, I say… “What?” I believe they don’t know that I have been following EPL since I was primary school. End of story~

Old Trafford: So far, all seventy six thousand (76000) seats are fully occupied during match day. I bought a tour and museum ticket for £7.00. Thus, I leave you all with these pictures and it will tell you almost everything. Enjoy!

Above all, I’ve put a stop to it. It is enough for me to support from the back. Last but not least…

GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!!!
