I wrote about dressing smart last week and this one come up a bit late due to some commitment. Despite that, promise is a promise however before anything, I would like to wish a Merry Christmas to anyone who celebrates it.
As a gift, I have added new category named Style. That shows some commitment I hope in which I plan to write more this coming year 2010. So, let us begin with this week style article with the title Topman Attitude.
What you wear leaves impression upon yourself. Enough said. What concern next is your attitude, behaviour and manner. Let me share you some tips straight away and perhaps we can learn from one another.

Topman Attitude
- A Topman does not mix his personal life with professional.
- A Topman does not have pride wearing something he had instead appreciate it.
- A Topman avoids useless talks.
- A Topman manage his time properly.
- A Topman treat people the same regardless who they are.
Wait! That’s too serious isn’t it? Ok, a lighter version of it
- A Topman Thanks first
- A Topman “Sorry”s first
- A Topman smile first
- A Topman give tips
- A Topman give seats
- A Topman open/hold the doors
Pretty basic, but we often skip and miss it. Take one example, giving tips. How often we do this? Well, it is not compulsory but I always believe in two solid concepts:
- Be nice to others. Appreciate their existence. Reward them.

Once there was a taxi driver. Seems so gloomy, a bit tired maybe. Before leaving the taxi, I gave him a small tips on top of the taxi fare. He smiled.
- What goes around comes around
Heard the phrase “Givers gain”? Well, maybe not in near future but someday when the moment is right.
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.
Winston Churchill said. Now I have more to share but for now, let us put those 11 attitudes to work first. At least for 30 days and I am safe to say you’re on your road to become a Topman.
If this post is kind of ugly and boring, let us read from Dan’s mom. In fact, you don’t have to read mine because that sums it all up. Happy reading!
